Charming vintage Russian art doll made in Moscow by the Roslavigrushka Factory during the Soviet era. Dressed in traditional costume featuring a deep orange layered dress, wine-red satin waistcoat, faux-fur hat and red boots. Her porcelain-look face is delicately painted with rosy cheeks and black plaited hair. Complete with original paper label in Cyrillic. A beautiful piece of folk art history and a collectible example of mid-20th century USSR craftsmanship.
